Healthy Way to Make Barbeque in the Nature

Fire from natural branches and woods

When camping or hiking in the nature (national parks), sure we could cook over campfire. We may use wood burner grill to cook everything from sausage to burger to salmon to chicken to red meat. Woods could be replaced by branches trees close by camping area.

The bottom line that we should choose dry branches to produce clean burning and hot fire. If our branches burn poorly and smoky, just find another firewood that often provided by public campgrounds.

Some people love to grill with woods due to its aromatic and taste fantastic. Yes, aromatic called as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) is potentially leads to cancer. But, some literatures suggested to eliminate probability to get cancer is by mixing the grilled foods with fruit and vegetable.

It is because fruit and vegetable contain highly antioxidant. We could use variety of fruit and vegetable to combine with foods, especially meat and chicken to be grilled, few of them are zucchini, tomatoes, onions, mangos and pineapple.

What does Hypertension Mean? - Cardiovascular 2

High blood pressure worldwide, Credit to Center for Diseases Control (CDC)

Literally the term of hypertension is high blood pressure. Hypertension happens when the force of the blood from the heart through arteries is too strong. The heart is pumping the blood hardly.

Whenever the heart beats, the blood is pumped from the heart through arteries to the entire of the body.

The rhythm of heart beat or pump is not always the same, when someone wake up, exercise or under stress the rhythm is increase or beat a little faster. This condition is normal but when blood pressure insist to stay high most the time, it might lead to the hypertension.

So, the hypertension is the chronic elevation of pumping blood in arterial blood pressure. It can be in pulmonary artery (pulmonary hypertension) or in aorta (arterial/systemic hypertension). We will discuss in the next coming articles.

In term of level, we call hypertension when blood pressure reaches 140/90 mmHg or even higher. There is 1 of 3 person gets high blood pressure worldwide.

The hypertension leads to many diseases include kidney diseases, stroke and heart attacks. On the other hand, the lower blood pressure the lower risk to get these diseases.

At figure above, there are simple ways to prevent hypertension without medication: 1. Healthy diet such as low-fat products, fruit, vegetable and grains; 2. Physical activity (doing exercise regularly); 3. Avoiding smoke (cigarette could increase blood pressure immediately); 4. Avoid drinking alcohol; and 5. Managing stress (enjoy and relax).
