Sweet
pea flowers in a public garden
We
in Louisiana, especially for me, actually didn’t know the exact
time for Fall season, since the temperature so fluctuate.
In
the November this year, F 36 (Celsius 2) degree was the lowest
temperature recorded. But today, early November, 2019, the
temperature is F 78 (Celsius 26) degree.
It
is quite odd for me if compared to Northern part of America or Canada
which experience freezing temperature right now.
Many
flowers are blooming in this kind of temperature or around F 68
(Celsius 20) degree or lower. Some of the flowers are:
-
sweet peas flower
-
Shirley poppy
-
California poppy
-
Peony flowers poppy
-
Larkspur flower
-
Iceland poppy
Colorful
of Diascia flowers.
We
have other flowers blooming when the temperature getting lower, about
from middle November to early December or in the area with 4 hours
sun light.
The
examples of flowers are following:
-
Columbine flowers
-
Nemesia flowers
-
Viola flowers
-
Pansy flowers
-
Alyssum flowers
-
Diascia flowers
Cyclamen
flowers in the garden
Moreover,
Louisiana have flowers which blooming when temperatures getting, and
some of them even continue to grow until warmer temperature until
middle of summers.
These
flowers growing in the areas known as short sunlight places, about
two hours during winter. They are:
-
foxglove flowers
-
cyclamen flowers
-
lobelia flowers
-
cicotiana flowers
-
primrose flowers
What
flowers are growing in colder seasons in your areas?
Beautiful blossoms! We now have six inches of snow on the ground,,
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, it's so cold there.
DeleteIt's 11 Celsius here, warm enough.

ReplyDeleteEven here in Italy fall season is pretty mild and from center to south it's even very warm at least until November (really here in Rome I'm still wearing short sleeves and dresses without stockings), so Autumn seems like a second spring, with many blooms fruits and all!^^
ReplyDeleteAnd since I love flowers I can't be happier of it!
