After stopping a while, we start to walk regularly, at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes.
Compared to one year during Covid 19 pandemic, we found unusual crowd in walking path at our neighborhood recently.
No, life is not normal yet like before pandemic, but at least we saw new hope on the people eyes.
Vaccines distribution seems very smooth in our state, Louisiana. We will have 3 brands of vaccines soon:
- Biontech- Pfizer, already administered
- Moderna
- Johnson & Johnson.
People look like favor to Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Two reasons:
- need one shot only
- success in medical trials in new virus variants setting.
As you might know, the health benefits of 30 minute walking daily (you may find through internet search):
- reduce excess body fat
- boost endurance
- reduce risk of health diseases.
- good for type 2 diabetes patients.
Some people walk daily to reduce their body weight, it is because walking will burn about 200 calories from store fat.
Our purposes of regular walking are:
- to boost endurance
- to stabilize blood pressure
Whatever the goals in daily walking or jogging, hope, we turn to normal live soon.
Walking is one of the best workouts! Stay fit and healthy!

Fortunati voi che potete muovervi. In Italia causa covid19 siamo quasi bloccati in casa, niente sci, teatri, cinema, ristoranti, piscine, eccetera. Vietato viaggiare e anche andare a visitare gli amici.

ReplyDeleteIt is good that you can see the hope on people's faces again. I love walking. It's a great and simple exercise available to everyone. I also like to do housework to stay fit. I read that sweeping the house energetically spends 500 calories. I vacuum my home sometimes but I never have the feeling it is clean until I sweep it with a broom and wash everything.

ReplyDeleteWalking is healthy, but in my experience it does not help losing weight. It probably does help preventing gain of pounds, and that's good too.
ReplyDeleteJ&J vaccine might become popular for it requires only one dose, and if I'm not mistaken its based on the traditional principle not on mMNA.People feel more comfortable with the old principle.
